Independent Living for Active Seniors: 102 bright, spacious one- and two-bedroom apartments and 18 charming, sunlit cottages providing worry-free living for seniors who are still very much “on the go!”
Enhanced Assisted Living: 42 perfect-sized apartments at The Terrace, where we focus on supporting those seniors who still want to be as active as possible, but need a little extra help. “Enhanced” assisted living means we can provide more services than many other communities, so seniors can often age in place and don’t have to move elsewhere.
Memory Care: 30 specialized suites in the newest addition to our campus. We’re dedicated to providing a safe, secure space with specialized care and activities for navigating early-to-mid-stage Alzheimer’s and dementia.

The Conkling Center and Eddy Senior Living are two non-profit organizations dedicated to seniors. The Conkling Center was formerly known as The Glens Falls Home, which opened in 1899. The Eddy began in 1928 as a 19-bed nursing home in Troy.
Recognizing the community need for a larger independent living facility in Warren County as well as an updated adult care facility, The Conkling Center formed a partnership with The Eddy to develop and build The Glen at Hiland Meadows in 2001. The Glen’s Board of Directors includes both The Eddy and Conkling Center members, retaining a sense of history and legacy for senior care in the area.
