Learn about the historic Glens Falls Feeder Canal with Pattie Simone, Executive Director of the Feeder Canal Alliance, experience what canal life was like almost 200 years ago! Leave modern life behind and discover what the Feeder Canal does and how it contributed to the economic growth of Glens Falls and the Adirondacks from the 1820’s-1920’s. We’ll begin at the Feeder Dam overlook Park and take a leisurely walk on the Towpath Trail towards Haviland Cove Park and back to the Feeder Dam.
