A visit to Parks-Bentley is a fun and educational adventure for the whole family. From clothing, to furniture, to toys and household necessities from the 1800’s. Join us for an intergenerational program at the Parks Bentley Place in South Glens Falls. Bring the grandchildren for hands-on Jam making.
Learn how food was gathered, prepared, and preserved during the 1800’s. Participants will have the opportunity to make homemade strawberry jam and to take a sample with them. Visit the historic house, one-room schoolhouse, antique tool shed, and grounds.
Fee of $13.00 per person is due to The Conkling Center by Monday, July 14th. Fee includes the Jam and tour.
