Everyone should have a Health Care Proxy and nearly everyone should have a Power of Attorney at all times, irrespective of their age. This presentation will explain these documents and their purposes, changes to the Power of Attorney forms over the past 15 years, and what happens if you do not have these documents available and you become incapacitated.
